Watch Batteries and Re-Seal
A new battery and re-seal is one of the most popular repairs which we carry out and yet it can be the one which is most overlooked. Your watch battery will be replaced a new battery and then your watch will be re sealed. For premium brands we also clean the case and bracelet. It is imperative that this re-sealing is done correctly, ensuring that your watch can be worn safely in the water to the stated depth. We can replace the battery in any watch brand, such as Cartier, Tag and Omega. We use only Swiss quality batteries to ensure your watch is fully protected. Crown and Stem
Here at GR Repairs we can replace your missing or broken crown and stem. In order for the watch to work correctly and be water resistant repairing the crown and stem is vital. Depending upon the watch, this may either be a manufacture original crown and stem or generic products. Before we complete any repair, we ensure that you are satisfied with the repair costs.
New glass
A watch glass replacement is carried out if your watch glass is chipped, cracked, missing or scratched.
There are various options which we can discuss once we receive your watch. You are able to have a manufacturer’s watch glass, a generic watch glass, even a glass cut to size. Our workshop hold a wide variety of sizes and materials, whether mineral, shaped mineral, sapphire crystal or Perspex.
Hand Re-alignment – Minor Dial Repairs
We can Fit new hands, re-attach your hands if they have come loose. On the dial we can reattach any batons or numbers which have come off.
Watch Movement Exchange
If your quartz movement is beyond repair we are able to replace the components or movement in your watch which would make it run like new again.
Ultrasonic Watch Cleaning
We will strip down your watch and use specialised ultrasonic cleaning methods which are used to lift dirt, clean your watch and have it running at its best.
